Brilliant new indie band combine funky cowbell disco with lush fairytale pop. Impossibly cool, they've been on tour with the Mystery Jets, and have some serious connections. Their debut album, True Romance, was released yesterday. I haven't had a chance to listen to it properly yet, but early signs suggest it's really rather good. NB: Since my last post got taken down for containing mp3s, I'm a little wary of posting them, it's difficult because not many youtube videos are available in the UK right now, so expect a strange combination of hypem, youtube, myspace and other blogs' links in the future.
